New Nursing Graduate Program

Committed to developing and expanding the practice of nursing, the VNA welcomes new graduates to consider a career with us. During our one year intensive preceptorship program, you will find the support you need including mentorship and leadership as you progress through your skilled homecare nursing career.

Begin your one year preceptorship in the dynamic Morris & Hunterdon counties. A well-defined orientation schedule is outlined for an entire year to include milestones that help build new graduate's caseloads and skill set. New graduates typically begin the program twice per year with one class beginning in the Fall and one beginning in the Spring. Nursing students who have received their BSN and graduated within the last 6 months to 1 year are eligible to apply.

As a member of the VNA team, you will enjoy a stimulating work environment, tremendous growth opportunities & great benefits.

Comments from New Nursing Graduate Program Members:

"My Team Leader was very supportive, postive and answered any questions I had. The New Graduate Program effectively increased our responsibility over months to help ease the transition to home health nursing. I felt comfortable delivering care to patients in the field, yet I felt I could reach out to co-workers for assistance."
